- 2. First Piano Sonata, Op. 32. 'Dedicated to Vera Brodsky with affection and esteem'. Dyeline copy of autograph score. Front cover and pp. 1-56. Signed and dated in the original score: New York, 24 September - 30 November 1943. The final bars of the work have been revised (pencil and blue ink), revision dated 1985-86. Performance and broadcast information in Arnell's hand on inside front cover. First broadcast: 3 November 1945, soloist Vera Brodsky, Radio WQXR, New York. First European concert performance: 1990, soloist Simon Murphy, British Music Information Centre. 12-stave paper (340 x 280 mm).

- 4. Cassation, Op. 45. For wind quintet. Bound autograph score, pp. 1-18. Front cover, flyleaf, and p. 1 are stamped 'Hinrichsen Edition Ltd'; on the verso of the flyleaf, instructions to the printer, in red ink, in the hand of Leon Goossens. The score has been edited throughout by Goossens in the same red ink (identified at the head of p. 1). Dated at the end of the work: New York, 29 June 1946 (struck-through in red ink). Edited by Goossen, 1961. 16-stave paper (340 x 270 mm).
