Green half-leather bound album, with title as above on leather label laid down on front cover. Prints pasted down on page with handwritten captions beneath and interspersed with newspaper clippings relating to the Viceroy's tour of 1894.
The main events covered in the album are Lord Elgin's visit to Quetta on 3–8 November 1894 and the investiture of the Khan of Kalat as KGCIE (prints 2–8), Rawalpindi on 16–18 November (prints 9–11), Peshawar and the Khyber Pass on 19–22 November (prints 12–15), and Lahore on 26 November–2 December (prints 16–18). The remaining photographs are architectural views of Delhi.
