Green cloth-covered, post-bound album, measuring 273 x 227 mm, with a metal spine. The album contains snapshots mounted two or three to a page with detailed typed captions. The collection covers a broad range of locations and subjects including Indian and colonial architecture, waterways, shipping and topographical views. There are several non-photographic items in the album including prints.

Prints 481-571—The Malabar Coast Views including architecture at Mangeshwar, Kasaragod, Canangode, Bekal, Cannanore, Tellicherry, Anjaracardi, Quilandi, Calicut, Cochin, Calvetti, Mattancheri, Cochin Backwaters, Chenamangulam, Allepey and Trichur. Prints 572-573—Home, Venn's son and daughter. Prints 574-593—Types of sailing vessels seen on the West Coast of India Views of full rigged ships, cotton boats, etc.
