Cabinet portrait of Helen Isabella Murray, with her three sons, Norman (1875-1934), Alister (1874-1937), and Donald (1875-1907). Helen Murray (1847-1911) was the widow of Donald McIver Murray (see print 6), and all their sons were born at Darjeeling, where he was a tea planter. Sir Norman McIver Murray became Managing Governor of the Imperial Bank of India. Alister was Chief Engineer in the Punjab Public Works Department. Donald was a banker, who died in Ceylon.
