View across the water towards a riverside chhatri and buildings beyond: '...a View of the South-west Boorj of the inclosure of Etimad-ood-dowlah's Tomb, and of a Kothee, or private dwelling house, which has been erected immediately adjoining the South wall of the garden, on the platform of a native Bara-duree, or summer house. This Kothee, now unoccupied, was the only building constructed specially as a residence on the left bank of the river, the distance from the Civil and Military Stations and, until within the last few years, the difficulty of crossing the river, acting as draw backs, which more than compensate the advantages of a location on the bank of 'Jumna Jee.' This print is interesting as exhibiting one of the many beautiful morceaux which occur so frequently in passing along the river face of the gardens and tombs occupying the left bank of the Jumna at Agra.'
