Central section of a three-part panoramic view encompassing the mountains west, south and east of the base, situated at the southern end of the Plain of er Rahah and a little to the east of the Royal Engineers' camp. Landmarks are identified in a printed key beneath the prints. This section is dominated by Ras Sufsafeh (concealing Gebel Musa behind), with Wadi Shreij on the right.
