Cham manuscript bound by threads, covered in hard paper with black net cloth outside, written in Chinese ink on book paper, Akhar Thrah script. The manuscript is worm-damaged along its margins and spine. The manuscript has brown traces, the spine is loose. The manuscript has 2 blank pages. Page 1-2 are torn from the manuscript. Page 15 and 16 are quite torn. Page 61-62 and 63-64 are torn from the manuscript. The topics of this manuscript are religion, ceremony, magic, myth. Contents: study of Maduen, instruction of Mr. Maduen, the method for invoking God before demon-dispelling ceremony, instruction at home in mourning of Cham Ahier people, instruction for becoming a shaman, study of clean water, chants in Rija Praong ceremony, dispelling bad karma and disaster, agricultural instruction, the art of redendering someone insane, ancient recitations to protect oneself, recitation about Gods.
This manuscript was inherited by Mr. Thanh Chau from his grandfather, named Duong Po, in 2002. Author is unknown.
