Views and portraits c.1820, laid down on tinted paper in an album (ff.1-40). Besides D'Oyly, other named artists include John Luard, Alexander Lindsay, K.M. Campbell, Lady D'Oyly, Jai Ram Das and Sita Ram.
Inscribed inside front cover: ‘Album belonging once to James Monro Macnabb and containing sketches etc by Sir Charles D’Oyly and others. Bought from James Frederick Macnabb by Archibald Corrie Macnabb 1928’.
Many of the pages are inscribed in the same hand, in some cases inaccurately, and the album also includes items of Macnabb family interest.
