Letter from Secretary to Government of India to Secretary to Government of the Punjab, 31 Jan 1860 enclosing abstract translation of a petition from the chiefs of Munimuzra, Bhoorea. 2. Secretary to Government of India to Secretary to Government of the Punjab, 27 Feb 1860 in continuation of the above (1) asks about the magisterial and revenue powers to be vested in certain Sirdars, and states that if the scattered estates of the Sirdars is an obstacle, a proposal for consolidation will be favourably received. 3. Secretary to Government of the Punjab to Secretary to Government, of India 4 May 1860, in reply to the above (1, 2) with 8 enclosures. 4. Secretary to Government of the Punjab to Secretary to Government of India 26 May, reporting the Lieutenant Governor's proceedings in the matter under discussion. 4 enclosures. In envelope.
