Mostly contains letters to Clanricarde, Ulick John de Burgh, from various individuals. Includes copies of twelve letters from George Canning, regarding Clanricarde's marriage and peerage, and Catholic emancipation.
Also includes: papers papers relating to Jethro John Bricknell, Loughrea, with details of his holdings and papers relating to a loan for improvements; and other letters and draft letters concerning the state of Ireland, finance and disturbances in 1847, the magistracy, Lough Corrib, Post Office business, India, and a dinner held for Garibaldi by Clanricarde in 1864.
