Lady Canning's journal, containing accounts of two trips taken with Lord Canning. The first trip was to Scotland, 12 Aug-11 Oct 1850. On the second trip, 6 Jul - 14 Oct 1852, the Cannings sailed to Vigo, Spain and visited Santiago de Compostela, accompanied by Lord Shelburne. They then travelled to the West Coast of Scotland, paying a visit to Brodick Castle, Isle of Arran. Both trips were taken in the Canning's yacht 'Fair Rosamund'.
Includes a photograph of Charlotte Canning. Volume includes slip case.
