Mostly consists of letters to Clanricarde, Ulick John de Burgh, from Earl Grey, Lord Wellesley, Lord Landsdowne, Lord Dudley, George Coleman, the Duke of Cumberland, Sir Herbert Taylor, Lord Howard de Walden, the Duke of Buckingham, and others. Subjects of the letters include: Clanricarde's resignation as Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in 1827; Clanricarde’s letter expressing disapproval of subscriptions for a monument to Wellington for passing Catholic Emancipation; appointments in Ireland; a request for a British perage for Lord Howth; George Colman and the Yeomen of the Guard; and a ball for the relief of distress in Ireland, which the Duke of Buckingham declines to support.
Also includes a vote of thanks dated 6 July 1832 from Gravesend town council for Clanricarde's attendance on the committee on the rejected Gravesend Pier Bill.
