Letters from Ellen MacDonagh regarding her claim for compensation from the trustees of Mrs Handcock, detailing her friendship with Mrs Handcock and the time she devoted to her and her son John Delacour; and a copy letter from Mrs Handcock to MacDonagh mentioning the wedding of Lady Elizabeth de Burgh to Henry Lascelles (1863);
Letters from Henry and Janet Ross regarding the two 'proteges' Michael and John [Ruske] and their progress in Cairo, A H Layard , and discussing personal matters such as the Ross's son Alick - Clanricarde's godson; letter from Michael Ruske to Henry Ross thanking him and Mrs Ross, and informing Ross of his progress in Cairo; letter from Lucie Duff-Gordon [Janet Ross's mother] regarding Henry and John Rusk, and Mr and Mrs Ross;
