25 envelopes, some damaged by fire in Dec 1859. Fire damaged items underwent conservation in 2017.

Prince Albert Edward, Osborne, 26 May 1857, thanking Lady Canning for gifts from India.
Prince Alfred, 26 May 1857, thanking Lady Canning for gifts from India.
Telegraph sent by Colonel Phipps, 29 Jan 1859 to Lady Canning in Allahabad with news of the birth of the Queen’s first grandson, with envelope.
Princess Helena, Osborne, 4 Oct 1860, thanking Lady Canning for presents from India, and sending news of Princess Alice’s child, and Prince Alfred’s reception at Cape Town.
