Containing a report of the resigning Ordinary Counsellor of Netherlands India, Governor and Director of the Town and Fort Malacca and Dependencies, the Honble Balthazar Bort; left by him on his departure for Batavia to his Successor, the Honorary Counsellor of Netherlands India, Jacob Jansz Pits; in order that in case of need he may avail himself of it.
Consists of extracts translated from the Dutch of Mackenzie Private 54.1, q.v. The corresponding passages there being pp. 1-5, 44-49, 61-63, 65-66, 81-83, 139-161, 172-176, 247-250, 255-260, 287-295, 303-321, 321-331.
