77. 3 Oct 1860 Petition of Mrs Amelia M Powell. Requests assistance in obtaining place for daughter Charlotte in an institution such as the Calcutta Girls School, has had support from Rev J W Fisher in placing two of her children in La Martiniere school and financial help (her husband disappeared ten years previously). The request is declined.

Requests donation for building project and encloses printed report for 1860-61 with committee of management listed stating intention of combining memorial funds to build cultural institute in Calcutta and list of subscribers as of 5 Jan 1861, 200 rupees sent as donation in reply
