Printed 'Memorandum of Arrangements consequent to the establishment of a Reserve Depot at Malta', dated 29 Jan 1855, with printed Memorandum from Lord Hardinge in relation to the Forces sent to the Crimea during 1854, dated 12 Feb 1855. Includes printed 'Memorandum No.10' listing Divisions which had embarked for Malta and Gallipoli and proceeded to Turkey, marked 'Printed for the Use of the Cabinet'.
Foreign Office printed confidential memorandum respecting Georgia, by James Brant, 24 Mar 1855, with printed letter from Consul Keith Edward Abbott to the Earl of Clarendon regarding Russian military establishments on the Aral Sea and the Jaxartes River.
Printed document ‘Notes on a Proposed Campaign in Asia.’ by H.C. Rawlinson, Late Consul-General at Baghdad, and Political Agent in Turkish Arabia,’ July 17, 1855.’ Relates to the Crimean war, outlining reasons for attacking Russia in her trans-Caucasian provinces, the modus operandi, and the results to be obtained. Proposes a campaign in Georgia. Expresses concern about Russian influence throughout the countries which encircle the north-west frontier of the Indian Empire.
