Family tree indicating Major Stuart Wortley's inheritance of Highcliffe from Louisa, Lady Waterford, author unidentified.
Sample A5 size bound volume, with note from unidentified author(s) suggesting it was used as a prototype for binding Charlotte Canning's journals, and referring to correspondence with the India Office Library in 1962. Note also refers to the two copies of Charlotte Canning's journals, the originals kept in India and the copies she sent home to her family.
