1. Copy of letter from Lord Bathhurst to the Tyrolean Deputies, Foreign Office, 11 Nov 1809, made by Charles Canning. Letter is endorsed ‘This letter is preserved in the Museum at Innspruck [sic]. The original is written in the hanbd of Ld Malmesbury who at the time was Under Secrty at the F.O. under Mr Canning’.
2. George Canning’s papers, 1823-1827, sent to Charles Canning by J. Bidwell?, 23 June 1853. Consists of correspondence from Alex Fraser regarding claims to a pension by Dr Robertson’s family; ‘Private & Secret’ note regarding payment to Monsieur ‘Manno’?, July 1825; letter, in French from Le Comte de Paoli Chagny, 30 Jan 1827, enclosing poem, in French, in honour of George Canning’s speech of 12 Dec 1826 , entitled ‘Le Chien de Berger & les Deux Matins’.
3. Two copies of ‘Tribute to the Memory of the Late Hon. George Canning’ by the Right Hon. J.W. Croker, Aug 1827, entitled ‘Non Omnis Moriar’, printed on sheet with ‘Extract from the memoir of the late Davies Gilbert, by the Marquis of Northampton, Nov 1840.
4. Letter from William Bentinck, Calcutta, 20 Apr 1834, to Charles Canning, and letter from Barrackpore, 29 May 1834, to Joan, Lady Canning, regarding Mrs Walker and Miss Reddish, relatives of George Canning.
