Photocopies of 36 letters from P.G. Wodehouse to Townend, 31 Jan 1953 to 21 Feb 1956.
The letters concern Wodehouse's latest novels and theatre projects, his American publisher, sales and reviews of his books, plots of his stories, ideas for short stories, Performing Flea, Bring on the Girls, Townend's stories, work of other authors, the state of American magazines, Herbert Wotton Westbrook, personal news and news about their dogs.
The file also includes photocopies of 6 letters from readers to Wodehouse and Townend congratulating them on Performing Flea, Sept 1953-May 1954.
