Opera, op. 48, libretto by Searle, after William Shakespeare. Performed at Hamburg, Staatsoper, 4 March 1968 (German version); Toronto, Royal Conservatory of Music, 12 Feb 1969. - 2. ff. 14-42. "Night Thoughts", radio poem; 1955? Words by David Gascoyne. First broadcast on 7 December 1955. Full score, autograph, in pencil, parts 6-10. This is a direct continuation of Add MS 71765, ff. 47-52, which comprise parts 1-5. Piano score, autograph, in pencil.
