- Title:
- A letter from Muḥammad al-Amīn Suwaré in Touba to his son
- Scope & Content:
- A letter from Muḥammad al-Amīn Suwaré in Touba to his son in Medina Suwaré Kunda, that he was to give to one Fūdī ʿUmar Sāma requesting the return of his book, Nafḥ al-Ṭayyib, a praise work. He lent it to the latter so that he could copy it, but he had not returned the book after repeated letters and was now apparently asking for payment for its return. The writer then gives a quote of "al-Sheikh Mukhtār" (probably al-Mukhtār al-Kuntī (d.1811)), saying of him that "of all God's holy men there is not another like him on the face of the earth".
