- ff.1-52: Sketches for 'Fiddlesticks' (op. 65) (ff.5 & 28-52) with various other sketches, some unidentified. Includes settings of texts from Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'; sketches for a set of pieces titled 'Nine Lives' for clarinet and piano; sketches for a set of pieces titled 'Recital. Parts I - XIII' for piano; sketches for music for a film about Konkonuru; a setting of the Gloria text; and other unidentified sketches for flute, for piano, and for saxophones.
- ff.52v-63: Sketches for 'Wormys mete', which later became 'A convocation of worms' (op. 67). Includes early scoring for countertenor, cornetts and sackbuts.
- ff.63v-69: General notes, including a list of contemporary composers; a plot narrantive titled 'The dancing instructor', a draft invite to the launch of the book 'The Dancing Tortoise' by Naa Otua Codjoe-Swayne; and other unidentified notes.
