1. 'Three Pieces for String Quartet' (op. 19)
- ff.1-16: Autograph fair score, Indian ink on transparencies, with the original title of 'Three Easy Pieces for string quartet'. Dated 9 March 1975 after final bar line.
2. 'Duo' (op. 20) for violin and piano
- ff.17-37: Autograph working draft score, with marginal notes, erasures and pasted corrections. Pencil on paper. Title page gives original title 'Duo I' and is dated November - December 1975.
- ff.38-240: Autograph final score, with pasted corrections and some annotations. Pencil and ink on paper. Originally given title 'Duo I', which has been amended to 'Duo'. Dated December 1975 after final bar line.
- ff.241-257: Printed copy of violin part with some pasted corrections and pencil performance markings throughout. Not dated.
3. Suite for Guitar (op. 21)
- ff.258-279: Autograph score. Pencil on paper, with annotations in coloured pencil and ink, and some pasted corrections. Dated 15 June 1976 after final bar line.
- ff.280-302: Autograph fair score. Indian ink on transparencies, enclosed in manuscript paper with notes in pencil and ink. Dated August 1976 on final page.
- ff.303-325: Print of autograph transparencies (ff.71-83), marked up for Novello compositor. Contains pasted revisions, editorial markings by Julian Bream, additions and corrections by Novello editor, and additions and responses by the composer.
