1. 'The Human Heart' (op. 118)

  • ff.1-6: Autograph draft short score of 'The Lamb' and 'The Tiger'. Pencil and coloured inks on paper. Top of final page dated 15 April 1999.
  • ff.7-18: Autograph fair score, with some corrections. Pencil and coloured inks on paper. End of 'The Fly' dated 23 - 24 February 2009, end of 'The Lamb' dated 11 February 2009, 'Sick Rose' dated 10 February 2009 and 'The Tiger' dated 18 February 2009.

2. 'Four Carols' (op. 120). Draft scores of op. 120 no. 1-3. No draft score of op. 120 no. 4 ('The new-born') is held within this collection.

  • ff.19-24: Autograph draft score of 'Balalalow: O my dear heart' (op. 120, no. 1). Pencil and coloured inks on paper.
  • ff.25-27: Autograph draft score of 'Jesus, springing' (op. 120, no. 2). Inks on paper. Signed and dated 26 November 2008 on final page.
  • ff.28-30: Autograph first draft score of 'Sweet was the song' (op. 120, no. 3). Pencil and inks on paper. Signed and dated 18 November 2010.
  • ff.31-34: Autograph second draft score of 'Sweet was the song' (op. 120, no. 3). Pencil and inks on paper. Signed and dated 19 November 2010 on final page.

3. 'Toil and Trouble' (op. 122) for double-bass and piano

4. 'Three Little Pieces' (op. 123a) for organ

5. 'The Joys of Travel' (op. 124) for voice and piano

6. String Quartet no. 4 - 'The Turning Year' (op. 125)

  • ff.49-50: Autograph sketch for opening, with annotations. Pencil and inks on paper.
  • ff.51-81: Autograph working score, pencil and coloured inks on paper. Originally numbered String Quartet no. 5, which is crossed out and replaced with no. 4 (another quartet had been begun before this one, but not completed). Signed on first page and dated 23 - 24 August 2009 on final page.

7. 'Adam Lay Ibounden' (op. 126)
