Correspondence between I. M. Crawford, Western Australian Museum, Perth, to Vincent Megaw, 7 July 1980, pasted into preliminary pages of the volume (Add MS 7085), describes the drawing and states that artist of the drawing on folio 44 was probably Jane King.
