Constance Maud Raban 1890-1926
- Scope & Content:
-
Diary kept by (Constance) Maud Raban (1877-1952), youngest daughter of Sir Edward Raban and his wife Edith Welman.
The entries for 1 Jan 1890-Sep 1913 (folios 1-6) cover events in Maud's life including periods of illness, visits made by friends and relatives, and travels with her parents and her sister Mabel for both work and leisure.
Folios 7-18 comprise loose sheets of paper with diary entries written in pencil. These appear to be rough entries which she perhaps intended to write up into the diary eventually. They cover 1 January 1914 to 7 August 1926.
The diary has also been turned over and diary entries for March 1913-23 April 1918 have been written in pencil on folios 87v-85.
