Daily diary kept by Mary Elizabeth Baines, née Raban (1802-1864), in 1863 whilst living at Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset.
The diary records visits by various friends and family, outings including shopping trips and visits to see friends, attendances at church and a visit in late August and early September to Bath.
Folios 50-51 comprise notes in ink and pencil. The notes comprise copies of letters to individuals and proverbs.
