Log Book of Arthur John Moore Bennett's yacht Medea, consisting of brief diary entries. Includes detailed drawings of the yacht, together with details of expenses relating to her construction. Includes derogatory comments on individuals met on the voyage. Also includes photographs of the ship taken at various places including Famagusta, Cyprus (1935), Taipo (1931), Kyrenia (undated). Also includes two press cuttings relating to the Medea, 1936.
The papers of Arthur Moore Bennett (1877-1950) contain his personal views and opinions, with explicit language and terminology which today are deemed unacceptable and offensive and may cause upset.
