Add MS 89409/4/16

The contents of this file, along with those of parts 3 and 4 (Add MS 89409/4/17 and Add MS 89409/4/18), were originally contained in a single sub-folder labelled 'IPCC 1994').

The contents of files Add MS 89409/4/16, -17 and -18 were originally housed together in a single transparent wallet. Onto its plastic surface had been lifted and transferred the faint trace, in ink, of a document formerly its neighbour but missing by the time the file came to be catalogued. This document was evidently a photocopy of parts of pages 73 and 74 of 'Eos, Transactions of the American Geophysical Union', Vol. 66, No. 8, February 19, 1985 (part of an article by Barbara T. Richman and David W. Robb entitled 'Geophysics Funding Healthy in FY 1986 Federal Budget'). Since, in so far as the ink was legible, the plastic wallet duplicates an existing holding, it has now been disposed of.
