Four typed poems by Duff: 'Nothing was written in the orders'; 'Kreuzigung Christi (Alte Pinakothek)'; 'Anteroom'; 'The Lodger'.
Twenty-one autograph letters and notes, including a photocopied letter (13 Feb 1978) from Loytved-Hardegg to Duff. Many of the letters address the practical aspects of Joseph Brearley's estate (who died in Germany, 19 Nov 1977).

- (14). 8 Feb 1978 (1 sheet). Small cutting attached promoting the play The Rear Column by Simon Gray, directed by Harold Pinter. 'Some 2 years ago he produced another play by the same writer. It had very good press notices. Joe and I wnt to see it. It was terrible (we both thought so). "Witty", in the modern way, with a lot of unpleasant people being rude to each other. I think H wastes his time on this sort of thing, but I expect he likes producing, He ought to write instead.'
