The manuscript contains a text of 600 verses written on 136 palm leaves numbered from 1 to 136. It is in excellent condition. The text; entitled Vaittiya cūttira-600 and attributed to Akattiyar, is complete. The text deals with preparation of medicines. The names of those mentioned in this text are: Vaḻalai mārkkam; Veļļi paṟpam, Muttu paṟpam, Pavaļa paṟpam, Vaṅka paṟpam, Mūlikai vaṅka paṟpam, Raca kaṟpūrāti paṟpam and Uppu paṟpam for vāta diseases; Apraka centūram, Pūpati centūram, Aya maṇṭūra centūram, Raca centūram, Tāḷaka centūram, Kānta centūram and Caṭātāra centūram for treating menorrrahagia (perumpāṭu); Kālāṉanta kauri pataṅkam and Nīlakaṇṭa vālai pataṅkam; Cintāmaṇi kuļikai and Kāmakecari kuļikai; Paraṇi māttirai, Āṇanta vairavaṉ māttirai and Mataṇa kāmecuvara māttirai; Kaṟpūrāti kuḻampu, Cavukkāra kuḻampu and a kuḻampu for vali aintu (five types of convulsions); Mēka rācāṅka tailam, Makā cantaṇāti tailam, Ruttirāṇka tailam and Viṣamuṣṭi tailam for reducing pain (vali); ney for vāyu disorders; Liṇka kaṭṭi; Mēkatukku cūraņam and Kaṟiyuppu cūraņam; Kāma kēcari lēkiyam and Amirta cañcīvi lēkiyam. Size of the manuscript 30,8cm x 3,6cm. The text is numbered in Tamil and Arabic from 1 to 136. . The manuscript is complete and in excellent condition.
