The manuscript is composed of 96 leaves belonging to numerous texts written both in verses and prose. The leaves have two different numbers: the original one in Tamil and the secondary one in Arabic which was certainly inscribed by the person who composed the manuscript. It is impossible to order the leaves, and thus, the manuscript has been digitalised by keeping the same arrangement.

The reading of such a manuscript is extremely difficult. However, all the fragments of texts compiled in this manuscript deal with the formulation of medicinal products using iatrochemical processes. The medicinal formulations which have been identified are: Uppu cuṇṇam, Turucu cuṇṇam and Veṭiuppu cuṇṇam; Cāra kaṭṭu, Kalluppu kaṭṭu, Navacāra kaṭṭu, Nāka kaṭṭu, Pācāṇa kaṭṭu, Turucu kaṭṭu and Cavukāra kaṭṭu; Kānta paṟpam, Cīṉa paṟpam, Veḷḷi paṟpam, Muttu paṟpam and Pavaḷa paṟpam; Aṉṉapēti centūram; Raca kaḷaṅku; Aya cattu; Aya cempu; and Veṭiuppu ceyanīr.
