The manuscript is composed of a text, whose the palm leaves are numbered from 1 to 121. The manuscript is in good state despite the leaves are twisted; three of them are broken and some are very dark caused by fungus infestation.
The text, complete and written in verses, is entitled Muṭamuṟivu Cara Cūttiram-250. It focuses on injuries of vital points (varma). It mentions: paṭu varma kāyam, mayaṅkum vitam, pūṇel tāḻal, kuṇṭumaṇi vilakal, uruḷai pūṭṭu vilakal, cavvaṟṟal, amarttal tāṉam, paṭaṅkāl naṭu muṟivu, naṭuvari muṟivu, muḻaṅkāl muṟivu, vāri eḷḷu muṟivu, pittukkāy muṟivu, kataḷi vaṉattīṭu, kuṇṭaliyil vāci eṟal, pīca vittu mēlēṟal, ucciyil īṭu and karpa talam.
The text describes the vital points in pregnant women (karppiṇikaḷ varma), a type of varma called toṭu varma and the fatal signs (acāttiya kuṟi) that occurs in sense organs (poṟi) when varma are injured. It mentions the different state of pulse (nāṭi nilaikaḷ).
It provides details about human physiology, features of bones (asti mārkkam), the nine orifices in the body (nava vācal), and gives the names of respiration acts (carattiṉ peyar, iṭakalai). Lastly, it details the six chakras (ātāra viparam) and some philosophical concepts (tattuva viparam).
Size of the manuscript 30,2cm x 2,8cm. The palm leaves are numbered from 1 to 121 in Tamil and Arabic. The manuscript is in good condition, but the palm leaves are twisted, some are very darkened by fungus infestation and three of them are broken.
