The manuscript is composed of a text which contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 138; it is incomplete. The manuscript is in good condition. Despite it was covered by strings of insects' eggs which damaged the edge of leaves, the script is not affected.

The text, entitled Cileṟpaṉa Nitāṉam, by Taṉvantiri Pakavāṉ is written in verses; it is incomplete. Despite its title which refers to the diseases caused by cileṟpaṉa imbalance in terms of types, clinical characteristics and treatment, the text deals with other nosological categories as well, notably tuberculosis and asthma, convulsion and cardiac diseases.

The disorders caused by cileṟpaṉa or cēṟpam imbalance described in the text are: irumal cēṟpam, kāya cēṟpam, cuvāca cēṟpam, tīpaṉa cēṟpam, manta cēṟpam, vāta cēṟpam, pitta cēṟpam, tiritōṣa cēṟpam, caṉṉi cēṟpam, cura cēṟpam, aticāra cēṟpam, cala cēṟpam, akkiṉi cēṟpam, pūta cēṟpam, muyalakaṇṭa cēṟpam, veṟi cēṟpam, vikāra cēṟpam, curōṇita cēṟpam, viraṇa cēṟpam, turkanta cēṟpam and cantata cēṟpam.

The types of tuberculosis which are described are those affecting lungs: piramma cayam, rāja cayam, vaiciya cayam, cūttiya cayam, cēṟpa cayam, vāta pitta cayam, vāta cēṟpa cayam, pitta cēṟpa cayam, tiritōṣa cayam and vikāra cayam; and those affecting intestins: vāta uḷaimāntai, pitta uḷaimāntai, cēṟpa uḷaimāntai and tiritōṣa uḷaimāntai.

The types of bronchial asthma which are specified are: mantāra kācam, pakka mantāra kācam, vāta kācam, pitta kācam, cēṟpa kācam, tiritōṣa kācam, retta kācam and pīnica kācam.

Concerning respiratory disorders, the text describes also various forms of cough: maruntīṭu irumal, kañcā irumal, cura irumal and matu irumal and of anormal breath dyspnoea: cūttira cuvācam, mayakka cuvācam, alaṟu cuvācam, perum cuvācam and mēl cuvācam.

The cardiac diseases concern pitta neñcu nōvu, cēṟpa neñcu nōvu, tiritōṣa neñcu nōvu and kirumi neñcu nōvu.

The convulsive disorders which are presented are: aṟiyakkaṇṭa vali, maraṇa vali, maṉō vali, viṣa vali, cēṟpa vali, tiritōṣa vali and taṇu vali.

The text describes also types of hiccup: cūttira vikkal, ciṉṉakaṉ vikkal and tiritōṣa vikkal, of yawn: aṉṉaja ikkiḷ, cūttira ikkiḷ, mayakka ikkiḷ, kampīra ikkiḷ, makā kampīra ikkiḷ, and of sores in the throat: vāta kural kammal, pitta kural kammal, cēṟpa kural kammal and caya kural kammal.

Size of the manuscript 34,2cm x 3,5cm. The palm leaves of the text 1 are numbered from 1 to 138 in Tamil and Arabic; there is an error of numbering on the leaf 104/105. The manuscript has also a blank leaf at the beginning of the text, It is in good state. Despite it was covered by strings of insects' eggs which damaged the edge of leaves, the script is not affected.
