The manuscript is formed of a text containing palm leaves numbered from 1 to 15; it is incomplete. It is in average condition; the first ten leaves were partly damaged by mould and the last one very damaged. Size of the manuscript 37,0cm x 3,4cm. The palm leaves of the text are numbered from 1 to 15 in Arab. There is a blank leaf at the beginning of the manuscript. The manuscript is in average condition; the first ten leaves were partly damaged by mould and the last one very damaged.
The text is entitled Oṭivu Muṟivu Cāri. In Tamil language, it is written in Malayalam verses. Its subject concerns the practice of varmam. It describes the vital spots called kāl varmam and curōṇita varmam and injuries in vital spots such as nērvarmam muṟivu, āmācaya muṟivu and peruṅkuṭal kāyam.
The text presents some medicinal formulas used in the treatment of injuries of vital spots.
