The manuscript consists in a text whose the palm leaves are numbered from 1 to 66. It is in good condition; the leaves are darkened and weakened by fungus infestation. The text, entitled Pāla Cikiccai Vākaṭam, is written in verses. It describes formulations of medicines for treating paediatric diseases: a decoction (kaṣāyam) for wellness of a pregnant women (kerppam); medicated clarified butter called Amirtāti kirutam, Cantaṉāti kirutam and Pēṟṟeṇṇey as well as one kirutam for treating dryness caused by muscular atrophy (kaṇai vaṟaṭcai); medicated oils (eṇṇey) for treating growths (kiranti), flatus (vayiṟu porumal), diseases caused by bad influence (tōṣam), muscular atrophy (piraḷi), ear diseases (cevi nōykaḷ), inflammation (vīkkam) and dysentery (kirāṇi); a pill (māttirai) for treating indigestion (irai māntai) and fever (curam); and diverse medicines (maruntu, not named) for treating muscular atrophy (kaṇai), indigestion (irai māntam), colic pain during pregnancy (kerppa cūlai), regurgitation of milk (pāl etireṭuttal), inguinal hernia (kuṭal ēṟṟam), an eye disease (amaram), eczema in skull (maṇṭai karappāṉ), asthma (īḻai), cough (irumal), and a disease caused by bad influence (irai tōṣam), as well as medicated fumes (pukai) for treating diseases caused by bad influence (tōṣam).
