- Scope & Content:
- The paintings that decorate the Kailasanathar Mandapa consist of three Parts. The central portion registers portrait images. The other two left and right panels show various temples of Tamil Region. The images are; mostly schemaatic images of the temples located in different parts of Tamil Nadu and North India. The ceiling is being divided in to seven rows and each row has three and four images alternatively.
