The volume contains records of baptisms of enslaved and free individuals registered in the church of Nossa Senhora do Bonsuccesso de Piratininga, Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. Entries date from 18 June 1679 to 15 August 1692. There are no opening or closing charters. The entries were signed by Father (?) Couto, João Gomes da Silva, Miguel Correia de Sá (?), Joseph da Costa, and Lourenço Mende de Almeida.
Physical characteristics: No cover. Consists of 25 unnumbered folios that show signs of insect damage. Dimensions: 37cm x 26cm.
