The volume contains slave baptismal records from the Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Cordeiros, São Gonçalo-RJ. The entries date from 14 Dec 1856 to 28 Jun 1885. The opening and closing charters were signed by the Secretary of the Bishopric in Niterói on 11 Feb 1958. The entries were signed by Vicar Francisco de Moraes Silva Bueno, Vicar Eduardo de Andrade Lima, Father João Baptista, Pro Parocho Joaquim Francisco de Paula e Silva, Commissioned Vicar Galdino Xavier (X.e) da Silva (S.a) Malafaia, and Pro Parocho João Gomes Marcos (M.aos) dos Santos.
Physical characteristics: The volume has a cover and the 154 folios are in a good state of conservation. Dimensions: 39cm x 26cm.
