The volume records baptisms of freed (forro) and free individuals registered in the Church of Santo Antônio de Sá, Itaboraí-RJ between 15 Aug 1856 and 26 Oct 1891. There are no opening or closing charters. There is one example of a manumission at the baptismal font ("alforria de pia"); the final entry is from the Curate of Nossa Senhora do Rozario da Santissima Trindade.Entries were signed by the following clergy: Vicar Manoel (M.el) Pinto (P.to) dos Reis, Vicar Joaquim Freire de Azevedo Coutinho (Cou.to), Vicar João Philippe Pinheiro, Vicar Vicente de Alexandre, Priest Aniceto Martins de Bilbao, and Vicar Paulo Cortes.
Physical characteristics: The volume is comprised of 94 slightly damaged folios and does not not have a cover. Dimensions: 42cm x 28cm.
