This fragment of a volume is composed of an opening charter, which notes that the book, which orignially had 110 folios, was to be used to record the burials of "whites, free blacks (libertos), and slaves" registered in the Church of Santo Antônio de Sá, Itaboraí-RJ. Vicar Gaspar Antunes de Sousa signed the charter on 10 Jan 1744. The only available folio documents the pastoral visit of Bento Lobo Gavião on (?) May 1747.
