Didactic poem (أرجوزة) by Aḥmad ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq al-Sunbāṭī (أحمد ابن أحمد ابن عبد الحقّ السنباطي, d. 1582 or 1574), versifying the Selection of Sciences (نقاية العلوم) by Jalāl al-Dīn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Bakr al-Suyūṭī (جلال الدين عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر السيوطي, d. 1505).
Al-Suyūṭī's text, also known as the Important Principles Concerning Collected Sciences (الأصول المهمة في علوم جامة), is an encyclopaedic compilation of fourteen sciences to which al-Sunbāṭī added a further four: arithmetic (علم الحساب), prosody (علم العروض), rhyme (علم القوافي) and logic (علم المنطق).
The title of the poem is found on f. 96v, line 15.
