Inscribed on original cover: Sculptures at Madura; in red ink: Pagoda & Choultry of Trimul Naig. 51 Drawings. Each picture is inscribed with a title in ink and number in red ink. Drawings by a S.Indian, probably a Madura artist. Some of the drawings also appear in BL.Add.29,324, although the BL.Add. manuscript drawings show entire temple columns, whilst those in WD1063 often only show details from the same sculpted columns. Volume 11 in Wilson's catalogue, p.581. 'Book 11' in Library's handlist, Mss Eur D562/3. Pen-and-ink and touches of water-colour; size of volume 14.75 by 10 ins.
