65 A-B, 66, 67. Figural silk embroideries of Chinese manufacture pasted down on rectangular sheets of paper, each measuring 275 x 205 mm.
68-70. Textile appliques (oshi-e) of male figures in Japanese costumes, pasted down on paper. Items 68 and 70 are embroidered figurines pasted on paper that was originally intended as wrapping paper and with a painted inscription in Japanese characters on the right side describing the figurine. The wrapping paper of item 68 is inscribed with the word 'taiko uchi' (drummer) an 70 with 'ondorite' (dancer).
