- Maha Gandha Bell at the Shwedagon Pagoda - a large bronze bell, flanked by people. The bell was taken by the British during the First Anglo-Burmese War, but the ship carrying the bell sank into the Yangon River. The Burmese salvaged the bell and placed it in its original place. Photographer probably Klier, Philip Adolphe.
