(1). Serenade, op. 73, no. 2. Proof of the vocal score published by Novello & Co., date stamped ‘24 Feb 1914’. Loose pages printed on one side only and numbered [1]-10. Former references: PR50; 2008.1463.
(2). Give unto the Lord, op. 74. Proof of the score published by Novello & Co., date stamped ‘26 Mar 1914’. Pages printed on one side only and numbered [1]-22, with an initial page containing the text and including the following note: ‘2nd Revised libretto, 1 to 22’. Otherwise unannotated. Former references: PR49; 1977.631.
(3). Carillon, op. 75. Unbound proofs of the vocal score published by Elkin & Co., date stamped ‘26 Nov 1914’. Pages numbered 1-8. Unannotated other than an inscription in Elgar’s hand, in ink, on the front page: ‘Windflower’s copy just come’. Former references: PR51; 1977.632.
(4). Carillon, op. 75. Proof of the piano conductor score for the arrangement for small orchestra by Adolf Schmid, published by Elkin & Co., 1915. Pages numbered 1-9. Annotated with indications of two cuts to the music, seemingly in the composer’s hand. Former references: PR51; 1977.713.
(5). Carillon, op. 75. Printed score in a version for piano, published by Elkin & Co., 1914. Pages numbered 1-11. Inscribed and annotated by Elgar with what appear to be suggestions for staging the piece: ‘stage bell’; ‘dark’; ‘lights up’. On the reverse of page 11 is the first page of ‘Carissima’ for piano. The top and bottom of the score has been cropped at some point in the past. Former reference: 1977.967.
