The inscription is engraved on the pillar of the western sluice. This sluice is installed on the northern part of the tank close to the bank. This tank belongs to Rājagiri village. Kaḍavaṉ Aravātaṉ Kulōttuṅga Chōḻa Aṉapāyarājaṉ installed this sluice. It is dated to 1139 CE. Inscription: Svasti sri kulōttuṅka chō/ḷa tevarkku yānṭu [āṟā] vatu/iraṭṭapāṭi koṇṭa chō/ḻa vaḷanāṭṭu uṟattūr kūṟṟat/tu irājakēsari naḷḷūr/kumiḻi putukkinān kadavā/nkuṭi aravātan ku/lōṭṭuṅga chōḻa/ [a]ṉapayya raja[nēn].
இராஜகிரிப் பெரிய கண்மாயின் மேற்கு மடைத்தூணில் இக்கல்வெட்டு உள்ளது. குளத்தின் வடக்குப்பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள குமிழி இக்குளத்தின் கரை ஓரத்தில் உள்ளது. இந்த குளம் இராஜகிரி கிராமத்தை சார்ந்தது. இக்குமுழியை கடவான்குடி அரவாதன் குலோத்துங்க சோழ அனபாயராஜன் என்பவன் அமைத்ததாகக் கூறுகிறது. இதன் காலம் பொ.ஆ.1139 ஆகும். கல்வெட்டு: ஸ்வஸ்தி ஸ்ரீ குலோத்துங்க சோ/ழதேவர்க்கு யாண்டு (ஆறா) வது/இரட்டபாடி கொண்ட சோ/ழ வளநாட்டு உறத்தூர் கூற்றத்/து இராஜகேசரி நல்லூர்/குமிழி புதுக்கிநாந் கடவா/ந்குடி அரவாதந் கு/லோத்துங்க சோழ/(அ)னபய்ய ராஜ(நேந்).
