Scope & Content:

Collection of fragments on astrology taken from one or more texts. There are many rubrications, some of which seem to indicate section breaks.

The following divisions in the text are clearly marked as such by the use of relevant terminology:

(1) Chapter of the division and states of the stars (باب قسمة الكواكب وأحوالها, ff. 313r-313v);
(2) Section on knowing the lots of the planets (فصل معرفة سهام الكواكب, ff. 313v-314v);
(4) Section on the statement about the increasing, decreasing, rising, falling, fast and slow signs of the zodiac (فصل القول في البروج الزائدة والناقصة والعالية والهابطة والسرعة والبطئة, ff. 314v-316r);
(5) Chapter from the statement of Ptolemy (باب من قول بطليموس, ff. 316r-317v);
(6) Section on descriptions of the signs of the zodiac and those born in them (فصل في صفات البروج ومن يولد بها, ff. 317v-318v);
(7) Section on the indication of the decans and those born in them (فصل دلالة الوجوه وصفة من يولد بها, ff. 318v-319v);
(8) Section on how the masculine and feminine planets change their states (فصل الكواكب الذكور والإناث كيف تنتقل أحوالها, ff. 319v-320r);
(9) Section on seeking things you need from kings and nobles (فصل في طلب الحوائج من الملوك والعظماء, f. 320r);
(10) Section on spells for friendship and enmity (فصل في العزيمة للمودة أو العداوة, ff. 320r-320v);
(11) Section on the time in which prayers will be answered (فصل في الوقت الذي يستجاب فيه الدعاء, ff. 320v-321v);
(12) Chapter on the powers, evidence and indications of these lots (باب في قوى هذه الحظوظ وشهادتها ودلالتها, f. 321v);
(13) Chapter mentioning the rays established by the Indians for these planets in the signs of the zodiac (باب ذكر الإشاع قد جعل الهند لهذه الكواكب في البروج, f. 321v);
