This is a bound collection of newspaper published between July and December 1939. It contains news about world war 1, sports bulletins, advertisements of various good and products, news about things happening around the world, agriculture and farming, notification of entertainement events, excerpts of London newsletters.
Extent: 1 bound volume of newspapers containing 408 pages.
Condition of original material: Some pages are torn, badly folded, are brittle and balck ink is fading.
Custodial history: The Material was published at Blantyre Newspapers Limited in Blantyre district in Malawi. The news papers were then collected, bounded in volumes and stored at the National Archives of Malawi repositories.
